CedarCreek Rosé Pinot Noir 2015

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe first rosé with CedarCreek's new packaging, under new winemaker Taylor Whelan and Mission Hill ownership. This pale pink pinot noir is from Block 1 of the Home Block Vineyard in Kelowna, and undergoes a brief two hours of skin contact before a long, cool 22 day ferment, 85 percent in stainless and the remainder in French oak. The ripe 2015 vintage is reflected in the creamy, silken slicked palate and full body. Wild strawberries, rhubarb finish with a snappy, spicy, tart close, though the heat lingers a while.Tasted: 20 June 2016Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
