Santa Alicia Millantú 2012

Valle del Maipo, Region del Valle Central, ChileMillantú fruit, carmenère and cabernet franc, comes off loam-clay, gravelly soils of alluvial origin and is aged 16 to 18 months before the final blend is created. Look for a dark colour and a very expressive aromatic nose that is both leafy and rich in black fruit and spices. The palate is savoury with hints cloves, smoky toasted oak cherries and boldo/bay leaf. Classic Chilean red you can serve with grilled chicken or meat.Tasted: 14 April 2016Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
