Mission Hill Reserve Bin 88 Cabernet Sauvignon 2013

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe Mission Hill ‘reserve’ wines are sourced from the top 15% of all estate vineyards of which some 75% percent are coming off the same sites now year after year. In 2013 the fruit comes from Osoyoos Bench and the Black Sage Bench. The ’13 like others in the region is surprising rich, with a slightly twiggy scent mixed with smoky dark fruits and spice. The palate is dense and soft with rich sweet tannins and ripe cassis/tobacco flavours that persists throughout the finish. Hold through 2018 or serve with grilled meat. The blend is 86/8/5/1 cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc, merlot and petit verdot age fro 13 months in French and American oak.Tasted: 18 April 2016Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
