Beringer Cabernet Sauvignon 2012

Napa Valley, California, United StatesBeringer’s Napa Valley cabernet is made to be consumed young. The style is open and approachable – not nearly as tight and firm as the Private Reserve with its mountain fruit components. The fruit is a mix of sites that goes into French barrels, one half new and aged for fourteen months enough to soak up the largesse of California’s sunshine. Blueberries, cedar, licorice and chocolate power across the palate with soft edges. More chocolate and tobacco mark the silky, tannins in the finish. Drink or hold.Tasted: 18 April 2016Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
