Adega on 45th Cabernet Franc 2011
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe south Okanagan heat can transform cabernet franc from a leafy herbaceous affair into something much more interesting. In this case the earthy leafy notes that open the palate give way to notes of chocolate and dark fruit. The palate is similar with more chocolate cherry flavours with a dash of resin. The finish is dry with slightly astringent tannins. Must be served with food. Roast beef would be a good choice or cellar through 2019.Tasted: 20 April 2016Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:BC | $24.00 | 750ml | winery direct, private and VQA wine shops |
