Tenuta di Arceno Chianti Classico Riserva 2009

Tuscany, ItalyThe ’12 classico is an 80/20 mix of sangiovese and merlot that spends 10 months in French oak. The nose is lifted with a hint of volatility and floral spicy notes. The attack is fresh with floral, black raspberry, licorice, meaty notes and rounded tannins. A touch richer than you might expect. Best with pappardelle and wild boar or piece of aged pecorino.Tasted: 27 January 2016Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
