Kendall-Jackson Cabernet Sauvignon Grand Reserve 2013
Sonoma County, California, United StatesI’m a fan of 2013 Sonoma cabernet and in a warm year you get the best of this all mountain and hillside fruit a legacy of Jesse Jackson’s land-buying strategy. The nose is rich with blueberry and black currant aromas the attack equally dense and appealing with rich black fruit flavours, licorice and savoury spicy even mineral floral notes. The tannins are refined and well rich they are slippery. The finish is long and dry with earthy, black olive, chocolate and dried herbs. T-bone steaks would be our food match.Tasted: 22 January 2016Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:BC | $40.00 | 750ml | speculative listing - Summit Fine Wines |
