Sonoma Coast, Sonoma County, California, United StatesA classic introduction to the Hartford style with a cooler edge. The nose is open and full of black cherries and spicy, savoury, rooty red fruit notes. The palate is warm, rich and spicy with more dark plum fruit with a cool licorice undercurrent and bits of floral minerality. Hefty but still within itself.
