Famiglia Zingarelli Rocca delle Macìe Chianti Classico 2013
Tuscany, ItalySlightly more evolved nearly two years down the road, the Classico is a 90/10 mix of sangiovese/merlot that’s aged in Slavonian and French oak barrels for a period of 6 to 10 months before further refinement in bottle. Beginning to mellow, this is a savoury, tobacco, cherry scented nose with a touch of truffle. Dry, elegant, and round, it has a medium bodied peppery, tobacco, cherry, meaty presence. Ready to drink with lamb osso buco or rabbit in a tomato sauce.Tasted: 01 February 2018Tasted by: Prices:
