Tinhorn Creek 2Bench Oldfield Series Red 2012

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFrom the generous 2012 vintage, this plump and plush blend of cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc, merlot and petit verdot was grown in Diamondback vineyard on the Black Sage Bench and Tinhorn Creek vineyard on the Golden Mile Bench. Perfumed black plums, dark florals, black liquorice and black cherry jam dominate the nose and palate. A wave of blackest espresso adds an attractive element of bitterness, offsetting the sunripe fruit and 18 months in French oak.
