Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaBlack liquorice, ripe cassis, dried blueberry, dark chocolate, perfumed dark florals open the nose of this dense, compact, cedar lined cabernet franc and carries onto the full bodied palate. Tannins are ripe and on the gummy side, though the acidity helps carry all the heft. Quite floral and peppery on the finish, though ends rustically at this point.
