Piedmont, ItalyVery peppery, sausage meat, black licorice nose with earthy, cedar, savoury, prune aromas. The style is somewhat rustic but dry and fresh with a lean palate and plum, sour cherry, licorice, meaty, peppery, tobacco, resin and earth flavours. Rustic tannins dot the finish with some acidity showing but has fruit and intensity for grilled meat and pasta.
