The entry is ripe and supple, the palate is dry with soft acidity; it is all balanced. Juicy black cherry, almond, chocolate, peppery, tobacco, resin, meaty kirsch flavours. Good fruit and intensity but warm on the finish. Very modern, ripe style but attractive for current consumption.
