British Columbia, CanadaA new, frontier winery in the Thompson Valley, just outside of Kamloops, Monte Creek Ranch runs along the Thompson River, and its 44 acres of vines are planted predominantly to hybrids, like this 100 percent marquette rosé. Dusty orange pink hue, with cherry popsicle dominating the nose and full bodied palate. Just off dry, berry, red apple, candied fruit and a subtle undertone of milk chocolate and a swing of thorny bitterness on the finish.
