Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe LS viognier comes out of the Perfect Hedge Vineyard in Osoyoos. Where they are plenty of heats units to ripen this grape. The nose is classic orange blossoms with a pinch of honeysuckle. The attack is rich and full with honeysuckle, orange rind and spice. A big, rich weighty almost sweet white reminiscent of southern France. The grapes were whole cluster pressed and fermented in 40% stainless, 40% French oak and 20% concrete eggs before ageing in a mix of oak, stainless steel and concrete.
