J. P. Chenet Malbec 2012

FranceVery savoury, gamey, smoky, peppery, black cherry, prune and tobacco aromas. Dry, elegant, somewhat lean palate with some grainy tannins. Smoky prune, tobacco, leather, black cherry, savoury, resin and licorice flavours with some tea tannins on the finish. Not your Mendoza style but designed for roast meat nevertheless. Could use more fruit for the lean structure.Tasted: 05 August 2015Tasted by: Stuart TobePrices:
