Corbières, Languedoc, Sud de France, FranceThe dryness of Corbières is transmitted through this blend of grenache, syrah and mourvèdre. Highly perfumed strawberry, black raspberry and fragrant sandalwood entice on the nose. Black cherry, thorny cassis, dark plum and wild blackberry pack around the firmer core, textured with garrigue and peppery spice. Tannins are fine, raspy and structured, while acidity is brisk. Pour alongside roast chicken or turkey with cranberry.Tasted: 27 August 2015Tasted by: Prices:
