Corcelettes Trivium 2013

Similkameen Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe old Herder Estate is operating under new ownership, a Swiss family Baessler and the winery is named after their home farm town Corcelettes. Trivium is a 50/36/14 mix of chasselas, gewürztraminer and pinot gris all grown in the Similkameen. The goal is a crisp, expressive white with floral fruity tones and the result is close. Bits of rose petal, yellow fruit with just a hint of stony mineral notes underneath (more please) with a medium crisp finish. A fine summer salad sipper or try this with a seafood pasta.Tasted: 04 August 2015Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
