Tuscany, ItalyChianti Classico’s Radda commune is home to Fattoria La Selvanella a 50 ha vineyard that basks in the sun at 400m above the sea. High density on alberese over galestro facing southwest and you have magic. First planted in 1969 this mature site is the jewel in the Melini crown. Traditional in style it spends 30 months in varying sizes of oak casks. You are going to love its silky textures, the long spicy red cherry, plum fruit flavours and its persistent, long smooth elegant finish. I want to drink the whole bottle now.
