Bodegas Norton Cosecha Especial Brut Nature 2010

Valle de Uco, Tunuyán, Central Region, Mendoza, ArgentinaThis traditional method sparkling wine is the pinnacle of the sparkling pyramid at Bodegas Norton, sourced from grapes at 1300m in the Uco Valley. The base wines spends one year on the lees before they are blended, followed by two years in the bottle. Light toast, shell, lees, light lemon blossom and apricot jam aromas. The crisp, apricot pithy palate carries a gentle cushion of tangerine, mandarin and quince through a crisp, persistent finish. Bubbles are fine and the acidity is lively and chalk-laced.
