California, United StatesA garden of blossoms opens this off dry California white. Symphony is a modern grape, a cross of muscat of Alexandria and grenache gris. The perfumed muscat shows to a short, snappy finish. Pear drop, lime Kool-Aid, overripe honeydew is carried by a trickle of acidity. Simple stuff; chill down.Tasted: 04 July 2016Tasted by: Prices:

California, United StatesLime cordial, marmelade and expressively perfumed citrus blossoms opens this Calaveras County white. Symphony is a cross of muscat of Alexandria and grenache gris, and the fragrant and candied muscat parentage certainly shows from first whiff through finish (indeed, there is 3 percent muscat and 2 percent verdelho in this wine). Mid sweet, with lime, candied fennel, honeysuckle, pear drop and overripe honeydew, with a gentle stream of acidity to carry. You can take this to your Pad Thai table, and continue to serve it with grilled pineapple for dessert.Tasted: 22 June 2015Tasted by: Prices:
