Ironstone Vineyards Obsession Symphony 2006

California, United StatesObsession is a cross of muscat d'Alexandria and grenache gris that tastes more like a cross of torrontés and gewürztraminer. The nose is open and rich with a sausage meat and spicy ginger undertone. On the palate the fruit is a mix of peachy, litchi fruit with bits of mineral, banana and passion fruit. The style is dry and crisp with a slightly soapy fruity aftertaste. Thai food would be our suggestion.Tasted: 21 December 2008Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
