Côtes de Provence, Provence, Sud de France, FrancePouring a pale peach hue, this crisp, dry rosé is based on grenache, with just a 10 tip of syrah for body and spice. Savoury, stony pear, faint white peach and rainier cherries on the nose. The spicy, fresh palate, though still restrained, reveals more with savoury spice, subtle cured meats, mild cherry, plum and crunchy pomegranate acidity. The fuller body comes via the 14 percent alcohol, which is notable in the round mouthfeel and potent, peppery finish.
