Okanagan Falls, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaAlways much darker fruited and structured than Blue Mountain's classic pinot noir, the 2012 reserve opens with smoked stone, cracked cherry and an undercurrent of spiced wood. Fragrant raspberry, perfumed black cherries and a cushion of ripe black plum is framed by firm but finely grained tannins. A wave of sweet tobacco rides out the lengthy finish. Drinking well now, but will reward with 2+ years in your cellar.Tasted: 13 November 2015Tasted by: Prices: BC 40.00 winery direct, private wine shops

Okanagan Falls, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaA very consistent performer with bright floral, strawberry jam, plum, leather, vanilla, coffee, tobacco and barnyard aromas flecked with a touch of game and dried herbs. The attack is dry, fresh, elegant and round with light tannins and more carrot top, strawberry jam, orange peel, tobacco, vanilla, cedar, Worcestershire sauce and savoury raspberry flavours. Finely balanced and supple, should age well for two to seven years but delicious now. The Reserve Pinot Noir (formerly Stripe Label) is normally release at the end of April, you can also find this wine in magnums at the winery.Tasted: 13 April 2015Tasted by: Prices: BC 40.00 winery direct, private wine shops
