Wild strawberries, raspberries, pomegranate, cherry blossoms fill the complete, dense, and subtly creamy palate, with a generous lees cushion, offset by poised, humming acidity. There's a lovely chalky underlay here, shimmering under the red fruit above, and lingering on the lengthy finish. Three days of skin contact set the colour and tannin required to sustain 60 months en tirage. In the end it’s the attractive cherry, raspberry, citrus that appeals. Fresh, and as bright as it is, there’s enough structure and acidity to take on a variety of menu items. Think wild salmon lox or grilled turkey. Nuances of cherry, raspberry, pink florals, and smokey Earl Grey tea, this is bright and pure and framed with a grippy riff of fine tannins that frame the streaming flow along the palate.
