Quails' Gate Chasselas - Pinot Blanc - Pinot Gris 2013

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaWhere other BC wineries have selected a proprietary name for their aromatic white blend, Quails' Gate proudly labels theirs by the trio of grapes, however unfashionable (or obscure?) they might be. As in previous years, this is a consistent patio wine, simple and pure but not complacent. Light pear and cherries on the nose before a juicy, light palate of stone fruit, green and yellow apples, anise herbs and lime oil on the finish. Just a lick of sweetness for balance. Pair with tuna or chicken salad.Tasted: 19 February 2015Tasted by: Prices:
