Pentâge Winery Rousanne Marsanne Viognier Dirty Dozen Vineyards 2012

Skaha Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaOne of growing number of Rhone inspired blends coming out of the Okanagan Valley in this case a 60/20/20 mix of roussanne, viognier and marsanne. The nose is fresh mixing stone fruits and floral notes with a squeeze of citrus. Some would suggest it is a bit skinny but I prefer this style versus the heavier, weighty, super ripe floral style, especially with food. Bits of apricot lemon and spice finish off the palate with a hint of lees. Enjoy with spicy tuna sushi.Tasted: 28 January 2015Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
