Refreshing acidity sets the stage for its perfectly balanced stone fruit, citrus, stony, mineral flavours, Precision bone dry flavours that cry out for food. Salmon sashimi would be a great choice. The VDP's 2012 classification defines the quality of a wine according to its origin (terroir) dividing it into four tiers: from "Gutswein" (proprietary, regional wines) and "Ortswein" (village wines) to "Erste Lage" (wines from first-class classified sites) and "Grosse Lage" (wines from the very best classified sites). There are is no Prädikats designation for trocken wines.
