Weingut Robert Weil Kiedricher Trocken Riesling 2014

Rheinhessen, GermanyWeingut Robert Weil, founded 1875, is run today by Wilhelm Weil, the fourth generation of the founding family. They specialize in one thing: riesling. This is the finest dry riesling the estate produces, a powerhouse now in youth, and one that will continue to build over the coming decades. Pear, apple in a linear, greyhound sleek frame, wrapped in a blanket of light honied pear. Whisper fine spicing surrounds the whole. There's a cut of pear skin, savoury stones and a salted, lingering finish. A beauty vibrant example of youthful, dry riesling drinking well now, and that will honey and age with time in the cellar.Tasted: 09 May 2017Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
