Sonoma Mountain, Sonoma County, California, United StatesThis limited release has arrived to BC just in time for Halloween, but we wish it would stick around for longer. Layered blend of mostly Sonoma County, with petite sirah, carignane, zinfandel, syrah, barbera, alicante bouschet and mourvèdre all playing a part in this deep, savoury blend. Dried and ripe fruit teem together here - cherries, cassis, black plum and blackberry with scented violets, dried spice, subtle leather and suede tannins. Enjoy now with veal or pork loin, or lay down for 1-2 years.Tasted: 18 October 2014Tasted by: Prices:
Sonoma Mountain, Sonoma County, California, United StatesThis is a delicious blend of petite sirah, carignane, zinfandel, syrah, barbera, alicante bouschet and mourvèdre grown across Alexander Valley, Dry Creek Valley, Sonoma Valley, Russian River Valley, Knights Valley and Sonoma Mountain. The attack is rich and warm with lovely rounded flavours. Rich, and robust its round fruit flavors are a mix of black fruits with a strong, savoury dried herbs and spice undercurrent. Drinking well already thanks to its balance but you can expect this to improve in bottle over the next five to seven years and beyond. Well done. Try this with a favourite ribs recipe.Tasted: 02 October 2014Tasted by: Prices:
