Douro Valley, Northern Portugal, PortugalThe freshness in this sun-soaked Douro red might surprise you, but north facing vineyards and early picking dates have yielded a medium bodied, juicy, fresh red. Earth, crimson, aged wood, slight leather, aromatic florals, black cherry and punchy spice spread across lightly grippy tannins. Nice value in a fresh, authentic red.
