Pirouette Red Blend 2011
Columbia Valley, Washington, United StatesPhilippe Melka and Agustin Huneeus Sr. are the architects of this ultra-elegant Washington red blend. A perfect growing season has given this wine a sense of balance from birth. The nose is typically North West with a savoury, mineral streak cutting through the liquorice, red fruits and cedar. The palate is dry and firm with more stony, plummy, mineral, red fruit flavours with bits of olive, dried herbs, mocha and toasted oak. Dense but balanced this will age effortless through 2020. One of the best Pirouette's yet. Try this with roast beef.Tasted: 10 October 2014Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $65.00 | 750ml | speculative listing - Mark Anthony Brands |
