Perseus Select Lots Cabernet Sauvignon 2011

British Columbia, CanadaSmoky, dusty, lifted black current nose with savoury sage undercurrents. The attack is dry and somewhat astringent with medicinal cherry, black fruit flavours all with an acidic undercurrent. Big and rustic but this needs roasted meat to tame the edges. You should hold this for a year or two but caution there is not a lot of fruit. Pricey for what you get.Tasted: 13 October 2014Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
