Perseus Select Lots Cabernet Sauvignon 2010
British Columbia, CanadaThe Select Lots cab has a ripe raisiny, touch of prune nose suggesting a warm site. That is supported by its 15.1 percent alcohol level. The entry is an odd mix of red and black fruit with a sweet chocolate mid-palate with some supporting acidity and plenty of sweet vanilla and savoury black cherry notes on the finish. There's some dry tannins yet to shed.
