Chateau Grand Puy Lacoste 2011

Pauillac, Haut-Médoc, Médoc, Bordeaux, FranceSpicy, peppery, resin, black live, light coffee, tobacco, licorice, green bean aromas. Dry, light, elegant but lean with some green tannins. Black olive, smoky, cedar, weedy, cassis, coffee, vanilla and briar flavours. Oaky and a bit green and lacking in mid-palate, this has some finesse and juiciness. Reminiscent of 1983 but made for earlier drinking, 2-4 years. We like the price.Tasted: 03 October 2014Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
