Santa Maria Valley, Santa Barbara County, Central Coast, California, United StatesIt is not easy to drink this wine because the nose is so inviting you hate to drink it. Oatmeal and brioche waft from the glass previewing its tropical, pineapple, honey flavours that speak to this super vineyard site that sits high among the upper reaches of the Santa Maria Bench. Burgundy on steroids might be the best description given its bright fruit and well-managed oak and lees. Stylish, food-friendly delicious.
