Santa Barbara County, Central Coast, California, United StatesAnother dry year has led to fine concentration of flavors reminiscent of stone fruit, brown spice, honey and a delicious wet stone minerality. Fresh crisp and balanced this chardonnay slides down like a silk scarf on a bannister. Some 30 percent is aged in French oak, of which only seven percent is new, while the lees is stirred weekly for six months. Fruit, texture, style and length.
