Louis Bernard Côtes du Rhône Rouge 2012
Côtes du Rhône, Rhone Valley, FranceWe just can't get enough of this unoaked 70/30 grenache syrah made form a mix of 20-year old fruit grown across the region. The texture boasts both roundness and structure with underlying aromatic, smoky cherry/raspberry notes that feed into more black cherry fruit and signature spicy garrigue notes throughout. It's good value and you can drink it now but it will reward a year or two of ageing in the bottle. Best with grilled meats.Tasted: 11 August 2014Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $15.00 | 750ml | specialty listing |
