Louis Bernard Côtes du Rhône Rouge 2011
Côtes du Rhône, Rhone Valley, FranceCan you really cellar a $15 wine? Yes you can and guess what, it will improve for the next three to five years to give you added value. Look for an open nose of smoky, black cherry aromas. The attack is soft and supple with more black cherry/plum fruit with just a whiff of spice. A solid red wine for mid-term drinking. A few bottle of this will protect the rest of the cellar as you wait for the bigger wines to come around. Serve now with grilled sausages.
