Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaWinemaker Darryl Brooker takes his time (12 hours plus) pressing his gewürztraminer's hoping to capture the entire spectrum of aromas and flavours. The style is rich and full, the polar opposite of his delicate riesling style. In fact the style is more Alsace with big, fat, oily, rich, floral notes and exotic spice. The palate is broad with less acidity and notes of litchi, honey, lychees, orange/peach flavours. Try this with a favourite curry or spicy Thai dish.
