Bodega Atamisque Catalpa Cabernet Sauvignon 2011

Tupungato, Valle de Uco, Tunuyán, Central Region, Mendoza, ArgentinaSmoky, black olive, cassis, peppery, blackberry, floral, prune and tobacco aromas. Fresh, juicy, dry, rich palate with some young, gritty tannins. Coffee, cassis, black berry, peppery, black olive, licorice root, smoky herb flavours. A bit warm on the finish but good intensity and fruit. Needs 2-3 years to round out the green tea tannins or serve now with grilled beef dishes. Good value.Tasted: 25 August 2014Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
