Potently nutty, with salt roasted almonds, hazelnuts merging with alluring orange oil, crème caramel and light molasses. Spicy, nutty, floral, lifted dried cherry, walnut, vanilla, smoky, toffee, tobacco, dried citrus peel and cinnamon aromas. Rich, full, juicy, sweet but finely balanced with acidity. Toffee, orange peel, ginger, vanilla, fig, peppery, cedar, walnut flavours. Great finesse and length here in the first of a series of 50-year old, single vintage tawny or Colheita port.
