Bartier-Scholefield B-S Red Table Wine 2011
Summerland Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaCan a wine be a window into its terroir if it takes winemaking to reveal it? No doubt a question the BS boys ask each other deep into the night. This is a better red than its previous edition, with more pure red fruit on the nose and palate. A blend of merlot sets the soft round textures while the rest of the fruit: pinot noir and gamay noir add the juice factor and syrah the spic and a bit of weight. Perfect with a meat-based pasta dish.Tasted: 30 June 2014Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $20.00 | 750ml | winery direct or private wine stores |
