Bartier-Scholefield B-S Red Table Wine 2008
Summerland Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFrom clay soils northeast of Penticton comes this BS Red - a blend of merlot, cabernet franc, cabernet sauvignon, merlot and petit verdot. Now with a few years of age, this scented wine opens with fragrant dried black cherry and aged wood. The fruit is wearing down to nubs, but there is gentle dried strawberry and cherry before the finish nips off. If you have in your cellar (like I did) the time to drink is now.Tasted: 12 November 2014Tasted by: Prices:BC | $20.00 | 750ml | winery direct or private wine stores |
