Cobos Bramare Cabernet Sauvignon 2011
Luján de Cuyo, Northern Region, Mendoza, ArgentinaFrom the Perdriel appellation in Luján de Cuyo the Marchiori Vineyard boasts 16 year old vines at 3,270 feet elevation. The fruit spends 18 months in French and American oak barrels of which 60 percent are new. Expect a powerful savoury nose with big blackberry and cocoa notes with floral undertones. The attack is supple with menthol, plums, tobacco and ripe olive flavours. Fine concentration and balance as always but on the big side. Best with grilled steaks now or cellar for five years.Tasted: 25 May 2014Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $45.00 | 750ml | speculative listing - Authentic Wine and Spirits |
