Cobos Bramare Cabernet Sauvignon 2012
Luján de Cuyo, Northern Region, Mendoza, ArgentinaThis is 100% cabernet sauvignon, hand-harvested in Luján de Cuyo at roughly 1100 meters above sea level. The site is gravelly. The fruit is rich and black after spending 17 months in 11% new French oak barrels and 20% new American oak barrels, the rest all second use wood. Expect a big cooked cassis style with milk chocolate, and savoury peppery undertones. This is a good old style cabernet that will appeals more to the Parker crowd then the hipster, modern buyer. Best with grilled steak, the rarer the better.Tasted: 03 December 2015Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:BC | $42.00 | 750ml | speculative listing - Authentic Wine and Spirits |
