Beamsville Bench, Niagara Peninsula, Ontario, CanadaCoffee, vanilla, liquorice, black pepper, black olive, cassis, boysenberry, tobacco and cedar aromas. Soft, round, plush palate with light, silky tannins. Blackberry, coffee, cassis, black pepper, roasted bell pepper, vanilla, resin and tobacco flavours with a bit of black olive and smoke. A bit oaky now but should improve with 2-4 years. Good solid effort here with some nice balance and only 13.4% alcohol.
