Seresin Leah Pinot Noir 2010

Marlborough, South Island, New ZealandA mix of clones including: 113, 114, 115, 667, 777, 6, 5 and 10/5 are farmed biodynamically (organic since 1992) at the Seresin Raupo Creek, Tatou and home vineyards. Essentially handmade and left on the skins for four weeks it eventually goes into French barrels (25 per cent new) for about 11 months. Its bottled unfiltered at 14 per cent. You don't really feel the alcohol as you inhale the savoury red fruit nose. Plums and berries dance on the palate with fine energy before fading into soft, silky textures that persistent throughout the finish. Simply delicious and a treat to serve with duck, chicken or lighter cheeses.Tasted: 08 March 2014Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
