Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaInky dark, the nose is s savoury mix of cassis, dried herbs, black olives and roasted bell pepper. The entry is and spicy, cassis aromas. The entry is slightly tart with some acidity spilling on to the palate along with some grippy tannins. The finish is truncated by more dry tannins mixed with dark chocolate and cassis flavours. Youthful. You can drink it now with bigger grilled meat dishes or wait a year or two for it to settle down.
