Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaAnother cool year yet there is less merlot than in 2010 42 versus 57 the rest is cabernet sauvignon and franc. The nose is leafy mixing black olive, sagebrush, vanilla and red fruit aromas. The attack is firm and dry with minimal cassis fruit mixed with liquorice and somewhat astringent tannins. Fairly oaky this need time to settle in but without a big beef dish it will be tough to conquer.
